First and foremost, alarm clocks for the bedside table need to be non-ticking. Nobody wants to go to bed with a ticking clock next to them. For a travel alarm clock, it needs also be compact, lightweight and durable.
There’s something inherently pleasing about well-made, well designed items, particularly those that we keep close to us, and it is no different to the alarm clocks that we have in our bedrooms.
Despite our great advances in technology, we are still highly reliant on the clock for it’s ability to keep us on track with time both individually and collectively. In terms of accuracy, nothing beats the now fairly commonly available radio atomic clock.
