Unfortunately the tank is not removable so you will need use a jug and as the hole to the tank is quite small, you will need a steady hand.

It takes approximately 45 seconds to bring the water to boil with its 3000 Watt heating element from the push of the button. We like the little spot lights on the front of the unit that shines at the cup when pouring. While you can set the amount of water to pour using the cup size selector with 8 different cup size settings, you can also use the stop button to overwrite it. The water tank has a see through strip to let you know how much water you have left.

7. MLITER Electric Hot Water Dispenser Instant Water Boiler – ADJUSTABLE TEMP.

9. VonShef Instant Black Hot Water Dispenser Kettle

Similar to the Koolle hot water dispenser, the unit has a straight forward design. The water tank has a wide opening flip lid lets you access and refill the tank easily using the included 1L filling jug. The hot water dispenser dispenses hot water at least 95°C in just a few seconds upon flicking the switch. To stop it pouring, just turn the switch off, it’s that simple. Bigger capacity water tank also means less filling up. You can also remove to tank to fill it up at the sink but it does not come with a handle unlike the Koolle. 10. MLITER Electric Instant Hot Water Dispenser

Here is another MLITER hot water dispenser but this time with a giant handle just above the big 2.5Litre water tank. It uses a powerful 2600Watt heating element to bring water to boil quickly at around 95 degrees Celsius in just 5 seconds. It also dispenses water a rate of 450 – 500ml per minute so definitely no waiting around. As for the controls, you get a straight forward on/off power knob to get just the right amount of water that you need. It also means that you can use it to make whole pots of tea or coffee or to fill a small saucepan. A safety light indicator turns from green to red when you run low on water. The water tank has clear water level marker that you can use to let you know how much water it has dispensed.

Looks familiar? We have seen a couple of these hot water dispenser in our list wearing a different badge. The Dihl Instant Hot Water Boiler is no different to that from VonShef or Koolle, just some minor cosmetic differences. It still features a manual dispense button, a removable high capacity water tank and removable drip tray. Dihl is offering the hot water dispenser in three different colour trims; black, red or yellow all with chrome accents.

12. Breville VKT111 Hot Water Dispenser

A premium HotCup from Breville, the VKT111 has a metallic finish, cup selector for variable dispensing and cancel button as well as a huge 2 litre capacity. Like the smaller 1.7 litre VKT111 featured earlier, this model also comes with an adjustable and removable drip tray and a convenient water level window in front of the unit. The unit also illuminates in cool white when boiling. Definitely one to go for if you are after something with style, however the shiny metallic finish is just plastic.

However, it does mean that you cannot lift up the unit easily and cannot refill its water tank at the kitchen sink. Use the hinged lid on the top of the unit near the back to refill the water tank using a separate jug. The variable dispenser lets you set between 1 to 9 different cup sizes so that at a push of a button, you get the right amount of water depending on your mug size. Don’t worry if you got the wrong setting, simply push to pour again and manually stop it with a second button when full.
