Here we take a look at the best Star Wars Lego sets available.

Top 10 Best Star Wars Lego Collectible Sets for Adults

In anticipation of the seventh Star Wars installment, Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens, LEGO brings us new and old vehicles, crafts, star ships as well as characters and related merchandises. Here are some of the best Star Wars LEGO sets from the world renowned brick maker.

1. LEGO Buildable Figures Series

The series is based on a small handful of characters from earlier episodes including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Clone Commander Cody, Jango Fett and the biggest of the sets, General Grievous. We are not sure if LEGO will release a Series 2 of the Buildable Figures as they have with the Microfighters. Currently this is a small, only 6 and fairly affordable set to collect.

UPDATE: Since the release of the movie, we discovered in major stores that the Buildable Figures series now include characters from Star Wars VII: The Force Awaken. New characters from the latest show with guarantee key roles in future episodes are now on sale. What we also found funny were that the price labels on the shelves had the word ‘Confidential’ printed on them. There must be some arrangement from the shops to only put them out after the release of the movie as we could not even find the figures on lego.com, LEGO’s official site. They include Captain Phasma, Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron in full pilot gear, Kylo Ren and new First Order Stormtroopers. While in the old series, we see only Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi in robe/cape. This time round, we have three figures with robe/cape; they are Captain Phasma, Rey and Kylo Ren. This moves the collection from 6 above to 12.
